I take a deep breath, my eyes still closed, and let go, like he told me. I sense so much, and try to orient myself. I finally realize what I’m picking up for an instant, just before I have to drop the connection, as I’m being overwhelmed. I’m picking up the life Force of so many beings, and not just on this planet. I want to say I was picking up all the life in this system. Nothing feels like Vader did, thankfully.

 

I drop out of my calm state, panting, “I… I felt so much, Luke.”

 

“I told you you’ve got it, Leia.”
