Summary: Pizza is nice, no doubt about that. It doesn't quite capture the entirety of the experience though.
Greetings from the Western Ghats, says absolutely no postcards at all. To be fair – the pizza and company has Chloe in an almost overwhelmingly fair mood; it’ll wear off quick enough once they bed down and her collection of bruises get their say – they aren’t exactly in said area of the Ghats. Not that the jungle had had a gift shop, when they were.
It’s a pity. Explosion happy insurgents aside, it was a pretty place.
Maybe Chloe could have used a leaf. Striped a vine, dried it over the hood of the jeep, make a paste of some berries for ink. The perfect memento to show off to Elena.
But she didn't. She'll just have to buy something from Meenu instead.
