Wow, it's already been ten years. Time really does pass quickly. I've been studying at school and practicing my acrylic in that span.  How odd that I was so close to not being able to do any of that a decade ago. My dear friend Tintin played a hand in my rescue after that plane crash. And yet it was the yeti that kept me alive beforehand.

I heard the legends before. In fact, I was reading a book about the yeti and its ferocious nature when the plane shook and the oxygen masks dropped. Seeing him right after digesting such tales frightened me. Then he petted me like a dog and picked me up, and I became conflicted. Why was this supposed monster taking care of me the best it could? Soon I realized it wanted me to be okay. I shouldn't had been alive. Yet I was. And so was it.

The yeti's presence brought me comfort I wasn't completely alone. But I missed my family and friends dearly and I left it without a thought. I'm so sorry for that, yeti. Often I think of you and thank you for saving my life. Do be alright, please.
