Summary: Olivia gets cold in the morning.



When Elliot woke up that morning, he turned over with a smile. However, the woman he’d been expecting to face was no longer beside him. Frowning, he went to get up and investigate.

“Don’t worry, I’m coming back.”

Elliot turned to the doorway where he saw her and the vision nearly made him choke. Olivia had an old familiar grey hoodie on and nothing else. He gave her a smirk.

“Is that my sweater?”

Olivia blushed.

“It was in your locker when you left,” she admitted, “I couldn’t get rid of it.”

Elliot was full on grinning now. For the better part of their partnership, they had passed that hoodie back and forth. When he’d left, a small selfish part of his brain had hoped that Olivia had kept it. Apparently she had.

“It’s yours now,” he replied, “You pull it off way better than I do.”

Olivia smiled.

“Oh really?” she countered, walking back towards the bed in a way that Elliot found impossibly sexy.

“Without a doubt,” he replied.

Olivia got over to her side of the bed and began to pull off the sweater.

“No, keep it on.”

Olivia looked at him, puzzled but acquiesced. She lay back down and nestled herself against him. Elliot put his arm over her gently, relishing in the fact that he was free to do this now.

“I could get used to this,” he murmured into her ear.

“So could I,” Olivia answered, “I get cold in the morning.”

He chuckled.

“Don’t worry,” he assured her, “Our sweater and I will keep you nice and warm.”

Olivia made a sound of contentment as she continued to burrow herself against him. Elliot closed his eyes and allowed himself to feel fully content for the first time in a long time.
