The stuff hurling itself out of the sky was like nothing Methos had ever seen before. There was ice mixed into the vile admixture of ash and smoke and dust that filled the air more days than not, now. Nothing that came down from clouds should be the color of dull steel, nor should it sound like -- bullets, shrapnel, grapeshot, buckshot, scatter-shot stones or worse, when it hit the ground, roof, walls and windows. He was very grateful for the windows, that looked like glass but weren't. This was weather to be watching, terrifying and exhilarating, not out in, fighting.
