Kassandra picks her way through the undergrowth, slow as a snake warming itself in the sun. She doesn't need eyesight to track her prey, but noise - that might alert more of the bandits than she is prepared to take on. She reaches a shadowed dip of rock, half hidden by a bush covered with with half ripe berries, and settles into a crouch to wait for her target to step into reach. The camp's inhabitants are moving about, cooking a bird over the fire, fletching arrows, standing what might be called watch nearest the road, but sooner or later - there.

She rises.
