“Cake…” The announcement system clicks off, and Chell continues on her merry way. Evidence of the place being rundown would be useful, if it let her get out of the chambers. It doesn't. The voice isn't ever particularly helpful either. No loss if it goes.

The silence, such as it is with the turret's bullet studded chirping, lasts until Chell is finally face to face with an emancipation grill. “Glorious cake,” crackles near her ear. She takes down the camera with a quick portal - she's getting hungry, even if she can't actually remember eating cake before - but not the speakers. Or is it part of the camera? The message ends. The destruction tape doesn't play, but it hasn't for the last five or so she's pulled from the walls. She keeps her mouth shut, and moves on.

Turns up again, twice as loud, when she's sailing over a pit of goo. Trying to kill her? That's not much of a question. Aperture is a deathtrap. “Wonderful cake!" Chell can't wait to get out of here.
