Title: Puella Magi! Charmix!

Notes: Ever since I did an AMV with the Madoka Magica girls transforming to Winx Club music I've been having a lot of fun with this AU idea of them basically having powers or powerups like the Winx girls. These are my ideas for if the girls could earn Charmix. They would still use their normal weapons but they would be super charged and the whatnot.

In the original non-Nick version of Charmix, it was a temporary power up that consisted of a brooch on the chest and a bag of sort. The actual costume was not changed, so pretty much the Puella Magi would look the same only with brooches and bags as well. They'd probably converge at the end to defeat Walpurgisnacht (as a wraith, not a witch) or something. More notes are under the cut and actual art.



Mami
Brooch: shape of a bow, golden oval shaped jewel as the center
Bag: Purse in the shape of a daisy, worn on her left
Earned by conquering her fear of being alone (much like Layla in Winx :p)
Special Attack: fioritura floreale (floral bloom)- musket fires leech seed flowers

Madoka
Brooch: heart with pink teardrop jewel center
Bag: black cat purse inspired by Amy the cat, worn on her right
Earned by saving her cursed mother from killing herself without magic
Special Attack: crepacuore (heartbreak)- arrows that target a wraith's heart, killing it instantly

Nagisa
Brooch: Wrapped candy with orange circle jewel
Bag: lollipop backpack
Earned by accepting that her mother's death was a natural process and that they'll meet together in heaven someday
Special Attack: caramella rotto (broken candy)- trumpet crystallizes and shoots rock candy instead of bubbles 

Kyoko
Brooch: pocky sword with red elongated oval jewel
Bag: Apple fanny pack on left
Earned by forgiving her father for what he had done to their family
Special Attack: fantasma del fuoco (fire ghost)- similiar to Rosso Fantasma, only with ghostly, fiery Kyokos that actively distract the wraiths so she can spear them

Homura
Brooch: purple diamond gem in the center of a circle with curved strands bent outside it
Bag: watch messenger bag, bag itself worn on her left
Earned by confessing her love to Madoka
Special Attack: problemi di fuso orario (literally time zone trouble; supposed to be "time zone shakeup")- gun shoots waves that disorients the wraith, while Homura teleports and attacks from behind

Sayaka
Brooch: inaccurate fortissmo with blue crescent jewel in the center
Bag: blue shell messenger bag (because she turns into the mermaid witch in canon, or because mermaids are known for their singing) with actual bag resting on right
Earned by reconciling with Kyoko
Special Attack: la sonata di Ave Maria- sings a hypnotizing song that stops wraiths in their tracks so she can stab them
