It's an unfortunate fact of her life as a mercenary in a world at war that no sooner has Kassandra got one outfit broken in and settled comfortable then she needs to swap it out for another. And it’s so difficult to find descent armor that isn’t too small in one way or another.

Phobos is worth far more than all the sum of Marcos’s debts to her combined. He carries Athenian armor, and Spartan, and a tunic that can pass for civilian in the right light, and the best of each piece that she has gathered by dint of not putting holes in it before stripping it from former bandits and other, hostile, mercenaries. Having a spear and a hammer and a polearm to go along with her sword and her daggers and her bow is perhaps overly equipped with methods of death – but she likes to mix it up. The best tool for the job is best tool for the job, and she likes to be able to do things with the minimum of fuss.

(Entire decades of swinging from one kind of fuss to another - usually because of Marcos, sometimes because of her, every so often because Phoibe being Phoibe is Phoibe getting into trouble - led to that wish. Not that she always gets it, since Greece is large and crowded and full of people either at war or affected by it. But Kassandra can try.)

Still, she does wish that there was a way to stop blood from staining. It's rough, and makes people far too nervous.
