In a rare moment of downtime between fighting enemies on a rainy day, Ami finds herself at Rei’s home, reading a book quietly as her girlfriend meditates in front of the temple’s indoor fire pit. She enjoys having quiet moments like this with Rei, when the other girls aren’t around and their duties as Sailor Senshi don’t interfere.

Stifling a sigh, she looks up from her book to take a sip from her water bottle, glancing out the open door to study the rain fall before looking back at her girlfriend.

Quietly, she moves behind Rei and gently presses her back against hers, humming thoughtfully as she ponders ideas. Rei makes a small sound of acknowledgement without opening her eyes to say something.

“What is it?”

“Nothing really.” Ami shakes her head slightly. “Just wondering if you would like to go out on a date tomorrow with me if the weather is nicer by then.”

“I’d like that.”
