The front door opened to admit the final player to the apartment. Everyone at the card table was watching the door when the man turned around.

"Wilson, this is Stupidly-Rich-Lawyer, Con-Man-Who-Agreed-Not-to-Cheat, and Iron Man, get more beer and have a seat. I guess you can play this week," House said by way of introduction, instruction, and concession all at once.

"Stupidly-Rich-Lawyer?" the one man asked.

"Don't take it personally, I don't remember anyone's name." House started shuffling cards. "Is it important that I use your name?"

Stupidly-Rich-Lawyer shook his head. "Nope. Deal."

House nodded toward the kitchen. "Waiting on Grouchy-Best-Friend-Guy to get back."

Wilson came back to the table, beers and snacks in hand, and took a seat in the empty chair. "Did you say one of them cheats?"

"No. I said one of them agreed not to cheat." House hitched a thumb at Con-Man-Who-Agreed-Not-to-Cheat. "Made him roll up his sleeves and leave his hat by the door. Now shut up."

House dealt out the cards and the guys got down to the business of playing poker.
