The more time went on, the more Lady Felicia found herself becoming tired of men. Her husband had always been decidedly below par, and it seemed to her that most other men who took an interest in her were either lecherous old men or inexperienced boys. There were several falling into each category at her latest soiree, and she was bored to tears.

For some entertainment, she focussed on the band. The music was good fun. If there had been children there, she imagined they would dance to it.

Her eyes drifted to the young lady playing the fiddle. The way that her fingers danced over the strings was truly mesmerising. Almost without realising, Felicia began to wonder what those fingers might feel like against her skin. Would they be calloused? Would they be gentle? She imagined the pleasure another woman could give her, a murmur of heat washing through her. She vowed to work on her flirting skills.
