The brittle edge of new frost snaps free under heel of her boot, and -

ice flurrying against the windshield, layering thick clouds

the world seems to bounce and sway, dizzying, nearly, almost gentled by pockets of air that send the plane tumbling

diving through fog of white, the only hint that ground exists is dark spears lancing up

falling
