Title: Woodnight
Fandom: Original
Rating: G
Length: 59 words
Summary: A Halloween-y acrostic in two verses.

In the woods far from the village
Rabbits burrow and nest with rattlesnakes
On a long-dead tree stump an axe is wedged
Night falls, and the woodcutter wakes.

In the blacksmith's forge, the sound of hooves
Roars in the night, scratched bark in the woods
Over the witch's hill the children follow
Neverland's promise and the lighted windows.

Oooh, i like that. Creepy and a bit old-world-y. A pagan bent.
Good stuff!
