Summary: There are differences between the bodies of Elves and those of Men




To most Men, especially male Men, the idea that Elves (even, especially, male Elves) had breasts when they wanted them, and only when they wanted them, usually but not exclusively for nursing, was only rumor, false, ridiculous rumor at that. (Any number of women of Men wished it were true, for themselves and for their menfolk, if only for the sharing of that particular labor.)

Dwarves of course knew it for no rumor at all, for their own bodies did the same and more, as seeding and bearing, as well as nursing, were abilities given every Dwarf, in their Making.

No one privileged to see an Elda with a child at their breast would doubt the truth of the matter.

(Nor was there any question of the intimate pleasure to be derived from and given to ner and nis both by care and attention paid those places (potential or emergent) by friend or self with caress, press of hand and mouth, lave of cloth or tongue, the multitude of other inventive, loving touch. Not when one has known — seen, heard, felt — the bloom of heat, the quickened breath, the eager arching into attentions lovingly applied. ‘Twas beneficence to everyone involved.)
