Ascot in cotte and hood (because Ascot HAS to have a hood to replace his Very Big Hat) with a bow - medieval peasant clothing, because he's living as an outcast in the greenwood with his friends, as they terrify everyone else - black shuck being apparently one of them? (For those who know Harry Potter better than their english legends, read 'the grim' for black shuck. It's the mostly-Norfolk variant~)

Because Certain People Who Know Who They Are started talking about Ascot as Snow White and the comment STUCK and now I am writing it for nanowrimo. HELP. (Ferio and Ascot are splitting the role of Snow White between them. And there's a little more outlaw-tale in it than perhaps there might be... Hence a few echoes of Robin Hood...)

It's a sketch with watercolour over it on paper which really shouldn't have had watercolour, again~ but I wanted a character sketch so. Also green and red-brown are apparently IMPOSSIBLE to balance in gimp to get both of them where they should be after scanning so the colours are a bit off, but not too bad. The stuff over his shoulder is meant to be the fletching of arrows, it's a bit more, er, impressionistic than I planned but I was playing about. *grin*
