Summary: Larry's had some housemate issues in his time, but he's finding his current setup hard to deal with.



Larry had been through some housemates in his time since being appointed as Chief Mouser to Downing Street, from that miserable Cameron who used to complain that Larry got cat hair all over his expensive suits, to Theresa May (Larry got used to making his escape from her moods every time her Brexit deal got voted down; at one point he was hardly ever home).

But his current housemate Boris Johnson really took the biscuit. Not only had he not been there five minutes when he introduced Dilyn the dog to 10 Downing Street (silly man; did he really not know that 10 Downing Street was Larry’s home, and Boris was just living there as long as the people allowed him to?), but now he had introduced this baby into their lives? Once upon a time, this place had been his territory, now he was shooed away every time he went near the baby and told he couldn’t play with him. Not to mention how much the constant crying played havoc with Larry’s napping schedule. How was he supposed to nap for hours at a time when Wilfred was only going to wake him up after a few minutes?

He hadn’t been happy at first when Palmerston and Gladstone had moved on to Downing Street. But right now, Larry thinks it’s time for the Whitehall cats to start sticking together.
