"What I need, Sebby, is something to have in my hallway.  Something which makes a statement,” Jim Moriarty said.

“Well, there’s plenty of paintings to choose from,” Sebastian Moran said, waving his arm in the general direction of the nearest gallery.

“That statue’s not bad either.”

“No, they’re not quite what I want,” Jim replied thoughtfully.  “Let’s go and have a look in the Gothic Art gallery.  I fancy something a bit older.”

They went down the stairs, pausing as Jim admired the general aesthetic of the museum.

Seb had preferred the stone lion they’d encountered on their way there.

“Ah, now that’s a bit more like it,” Jim said.  “Or do you think it would be a bit ostentatious?”

“It might be a bit high for your hallway.  And we couldn’t really chop the top off, like we did with the Christmas tree.  That one’s a bit shorter, but I still think you’d have problems.”

“You’re probably right.  Anyway, I’ve decided which I want.  If we get that one, we can close the two side panels down and it shouldn’t be difficult to carry.”

They left the building and stopped to enjoy the view.

“We’ll pick it up tonight!”
