Summary: picspam of Mac getting his foot caught in a hunting trap
In season 6 episode 18, MacGyver is out tracking some wildlife for a project when he steps in one of these steel jaw traps and it clamps down on his ankle. He did not have a good time with this thing at all.
He does get the trap off, but he's laid up for a bit with a couple of older ladies who run a B&B. There's some other interesting 'trouble' through the rest of the episode - some of which Mac stops with a mop full of cayenne pepper to a baddie's face.

Most of Mac's stuff would work in actuality (a few minor exceptions that would never work at all) - but what we saw was missing pieces to keep enterprising viewers who weren't professional Mythbusters from doing the things in their backyards. XD
