Photographer notes: This photograph was taken at Camden Rocks, June 2nd 2019. I wasn't using my normal camera so I knew some photos would need work in Lightroom - perfect for the 'mending' square on my Bingo card!



Taken with my Sony RX100, which is normally my backup for stage-wide shots if there's not much room to move about at a gig. 1/200 at f1.8, ISO 3200.



To be any use the red hue and prominent audience member needed to go. Because of the poor lighting and the way red is hard to deal with, black and white was the best fix for the colour. The audience and their cameras and phones were cropped out, though it made me sad to lose the full length shot.

Finally, shadows, highlights, contrast and clarity were all adjusted for overall improvement. I've had to learn Lightroom very quickly, and this wasn't one of the best photos (just the one I picked for this challenge) but I think it turned out okay.
