Artist notes: Photographs of three bands (L.D. Moses, Roxy Girls and Peter Doherty & the Puta Madres) taken on 25th-27th April, in my first week as a beginner concert photographer. Thought it would be fun to compare these later when I have more experience!



I picked ones where they seemed to be particularly feeling the music for this - I have no idea what the name is of the guitarist on the left in Roxy Girls, but he was all over the place during the set and an absolute gift!

These were taken in a small club and a record shop, so the lighting was particularly, um, challenging. Each photograph has a different approach to dealing with this issue.
