Carmilla woke up with a book on her face
She was not prepared for that week’s break-neck pace
Lafontaine had now become the start of the race
To solving the missing girls case

After hitting the old Sumerian book
One drop of blood is all it took
To encourage words out of their secret nook
And reveal the ancient evil’s hook

The hungry light
Now locked within Laura’s sight
She thought she was doing what was right
And knowingly walked into a plight

While standing over the edge of the pit
Carmilla arrived with sarcastic, vampire wit
Her and the anglerfish both took a hit
Surrounded by light that the sword emit

Laura and her friends won
They saved almost everyone
The next day came with a bright sun
But the reminders of who was lost weigh a ton
