Summary: Some things are a little complicated when you're dating a sort-of werewolf.

"This brings a whole new meaning to the term love bite," Dash says, tilting his head to give Marshall a better angle as he bandages the punctures from his wolf teeth.

Marshall winces. "I'm sorry," he says. "I haven't been keeping track of the moons and, well...," he trails off, focused on affixing the gauze over the bruising bite mark.

"Tell that to my appetite in a month," Dash counters. He grunts when Marshall presses the bandage down. "I didn't realize a werewolf scratch would be that powerful."

Finished with the bandage, Marshall steps back, rubbing at his neck and avoiding Dash's gaze. "Um, actually," he says, trying to forget how it had felt to lose himself, to sink sharp teeth into soft flesh in a moment of passion. "It's gotten worse as I've gotten older."

"Oh, great, "Dash groans. "So even if nothing happens next month, I could go full dog next year?"

"Wolf," Marshall corrects automatically. He sits and takes Dash's hand. "And probably not. It's been years and I've never gone full wolf."

"Just hairy and bitey."

"Sorry," Marshall says again.

Dash shrugs. "I'll give you one to match next month."

Marshall chuckles and presses a kiss to Dash's cheek. "Promises, promises," he murmurs before pulling Dash down onto the bed so they can pick up where they left off.
