"What, no daring spy adventures this time, Julian?" Garak asked as they entered the holosuite, feet silent on soft green grass. It was very different from Bashir's typical programming. Usually they were on daring James Bond-style missions. But this time, they were walking through what appeared to be a botanical garden. He didn't object. He liked gardens.

Bashir shook his head. "No. Just a walk in nature. This is a garden I remember from a visit to-" The man trailed off and turned to his left.

"To where, Julian?"

He was distracted by a tall flowering plant. Big blue blossom on a tall green stalk. "Huh?" he said, ever articulate. "Oh, just somewhere I went as a kid." Which was quite the answer and description.

"With very distracting flowers."

Bashir turned and smirked at Garak. "You're free to leave whenever you'd like. I didn't force you to come along." He turned back to the beautiful flower, running a finger along the edge of the blossom.

"Well aren't we touchy today." Garak stepped up next to Bashir, studying the flower he found so fascinating.

"I'm trying to enjoy my walk." Bashir moved down the path a bit to another flower - this one also blue.

"I get the feeling there's a story here," Garak prompted.

Bashir mostly ignored him. For a while. Then said, "Not one that you'll be hearing."

Garak assumed he'd have to live with that for now.
