Summary: Casey gets angry about some prejudices and finds out more about Zeke than expected


Two girls passed them giggling, but suddenly one of them stopped abruptly. „Ohhh, look at this guy! Isn't that disgusting? He looks so gay.“

Casey rolled his eyes. „Bitch,“ he murmured. „That's such a stupid cliche´.“

„Hm?“

„They don't know anything about this guy; how can they dare it to call him disgusting and gay?“

Zeke turned around to find out what he was talking about. „Well. Blond colored, short cut hair. A pink, tight shirt. And this scarf, pretty colorful is an understatement.“

Casey stared at him with narrowed eyes. „Not you, too,“ he huffed annoyed. „Why the hell everyone assumes that every guy who is not following the usual dress code is gay? That's so shallow. And even if he is, that doesn't turn him into a monster.“ He paused, suddenly looking uneasy. „You are not one of these homophobic pricks, aren't you, who judge people only because they are not like you are?“

„Case, relax,“ Zeke smirked. „No need to freak out like this. You know, I'm open to almost anything. And if you are interested, you could join me this Friday evening, when I go to Akron to visit the Axis again. Life music, The Ohio R.O.C.K.E.R, local band, but very good.“

Casey breathed in deeply. „The Axis ... this new gay club,“ he asked.

„Jep.“ Zeke chuckled slightly. „I guess, you would like it there. It's a bit chaotic, but a very friendly atmosphere. No one asks about it if you are gay or not. Though I guess with your amazing blue eyes, you would get the one or the other offer. But don't worry, we can tell everyone that you are my boyfriend.“

„For sure not,“ Casey murmured and quickly turned around to the next shop window to hide his deep red face. What the heck had gotten into him that he had started this conversation?
