The Greyhaven Nexus

The saw is in the library
With beds and books in store
A champagne fountain sits in state
Upon the cool-room floor
There's a Singer in the basement
She sews a pretty seam
The fridge once held an Elder God
That made poor Kelson scream

Oh the Monks in the Attic sing Jacobite songs
The Parlor holds Gamers in dungeons with prongs
The Basement has Witches, riting Earth's wrongs
As the Greyhaven Nexus spins ever and on

The waterbed is bleeding
(It's H2O, not gore)
Kittens in the laundry-chute
Make Ian's elbows sore
Tomatoes growing upside down
Dependent from the roof
Ghost-bears and roses guard the yard
And timepieces go 'Poof!'

Oh Ama in the Attic writes stories and songs
The Kitchen holds Heathens with hammers and gongs
Hellenes in the Basement mull cider with tongs
As the Greyhaven Nexus spins ever and on

The Halls are full of book-stuffed shelves,
Of art and Gods and Cats
Swords and harps are rescued swift
From fire, flood and rats
The Cornices hold gargoyles
The windows Matrix-lights
Poets paint the walls with words
And music burns all nights

The Seers in the Attic thread Fate with their songs
The Landing holds Lovers both ghostly and strong
The Wards in the Basement stand fast through the throng
And the Greyhaven Nexus spins ever and on.
