"He does have a nice butt," Ethan muses aloud, rousing his lover.

"Hmm?" Giles rolls over in bed, relishing the heat of his lover's body as Ethan holds him close.

"The boy you've hired to take care of the yard work," Ethan clarifies. He presses a kiss to Giles' head.

"What about him?" Giles asks, blinking owlishly at Ethan. It's far too early in the morning to be having a discussion using words. If Ethan's going to persist in keeping him awake, Giles has a much better use for his mouth that involves no talking whatsoever.

"He has a nice butt."

Frowning, Giles raises his head to give his lover a petulant look. "What's wrong with mine?"

Chuckling. Ethan kisses Giles' frown away. "Nothing, love. Just letting you know that I highly approve of your 'pool boy'."

"You don't mind?" Giles asks.

"Far from it." There's a playful glint in Ethan's eyes that Giles recognizes from the wild days of their youth.

"He's too young to join us for a threesome," Giles says.

Though he has had fantasies about seducing a younger man into their bed, Xander is only sixteen and Giles is a librarian at the boy's high school. He'd rather avoid becoming a local pariah by tarnishing the boy's innocence, or even thinking about doing so, though there are parts of him that wouldn't mind showing a young virgin around the curves, so to speak. Knowing that Ethan's on the same page as he is makes desire flare in his gut and he rolls to straddle his lover.

"I suppose we can wait a few years before we deflower the boy," Ethan says, voice low and husky. He has never had any qualms with not following societal norms, though he does acquiesce to Giles' moral sensibilities, however grudgingly so. Giles supposes that's part of why he loves Ethan as much as he does.

Giving Ethan a predatory smile, Giles takes his time reminding his lover just why they became lovers in the first place, and that his butt is just as worthy of praise as that of their errand boy's, or anyone else's for that matter.
