Here I am breaking in a new journal. I'm on a plane, headed for Thailand. Did I do the right thing sending Emma to jail, or was it just the easy thing? Maybe I should have just stuck around and tried to steer the two of them in the right direction without the whole prison thing. I don't know. Too late now to change it. I'll go back in a year so I can be there for her when she gets out. I know I was supposed to save this money for her, I'll get some work and pay it back. It'll be okay. I've got almost a year before I have to head back and make it right. I just need a little adventure first. Is that so wrong? Who knows how long I get this life? I worry that I could turn back to wood at any time.

It's just so hard to resist temptation. I know I should have been there for Emma while she was growing up, but what was I supposed to do? Follow her around like some kind of stalker? Checking in on her occasionally is one thing but following her around all the time is more than a little bit creepy, especially seeing she's younger than me and all.

Emma will be fine. I'll be back before she gets out. I'll keep an eye out on her until it's time to break the curse and when it's broken maybe her and Neal can get their happily ever after. Maybe we all can.
