Caitlin woke up to an ice-cold room. Shivering, she checked the thermostat. Finding it turned all the way down, she doesn’t even have to wonder; she knows who’s responsible. Her metahuman alter ego liked playing tricks on her. Caitlin cranked the heat, looked out the window, and shook her head. Of course, it’s snowing.

Every time Caitlin thought she was getting a handle on this new life with powers, her frosty side did something to shake her out of her complacency. She was grateful Killer Frost wasn’t going on murderous rampages, but these little tricks of hers were growing cold.
