The light surrounded him from the moment he stepped through the portal; the light of the sun, magnified by crystal and reflected from marble; the Light of the Naaru, brighter still and more inescapable, clenching about him like a vise.

Nahaan remembered, through dead distance, that once he had worn this Light as easily as a cloak. Now it pressed on him heavier than saronite, heavier than even the Lich King's hand; it burned like balefire on his dead flesh. Perhaps Fordring was right and it would be the purgation of the plague.

Or perhaps Bridenbrad would burn as well.
