Title:Princess CheongMyong
Fandom: Queen SeonDeok - 선덕여왕 (Seondeok Yeo Wang)
Rating: G
Content notes: none
Artist notes: Copic multiliners and Ciao Markers. This is about the third ever real thing I've done with them, so apologies for, uh, EVERYTHING. (and I need some darker browns. ^^;)
Summary:Princess CheongMyong, when she works out that Deokman is her twin sister. (Deokman is the main character. Up to the point I've just reached, her twin's story was running parallel and in contrast to her own - the other side of her story, as it were~ From now on, I rather suspect Bidam is going to be the parallel, but I'm only on episode 26 of 60+ so who knows! XD)

Princess CheongMyong in profile from the waist up, wearing pink clothes accented in green with an elaborate hairstyle.

This is mostly following CLAMP's Tsubasa style, because that's what I've been using lately. Details on the clothing are dodgy as anything because a) I forgot all the embroidery until the last moment, oops, b) couldn't get my dvds to pause at a point where I could see detail above her forehead in this outfit no matter what I did, and same with below the bust, gragh. >.> also c) I broke the cardinal rule of art when you aren't utterly certain of your marker colours and started in a dimly lit room at night, and so picked VERY WRONG for the first layers on her clothes? They were meant to be much paler!

(I think I've got the hang of playing with hair, at least with the way I want to play with it for now - need to work on colouring clothing for a bit...)

The grid on the green background is meant to represent the patterns in the windows and doors in the palace; when they're blurred out behind her in scenes it looks like she's trapped, it seemed appropriate - because she is trapped, by who she is and the palace, and that's also the other side of Deokman's story - Deokman being (at this point) driven by not knowing who she is.

(I'M NOT POSTING AT THE LAST MINUTE *gleeful dance* also CHANGE OF FANDOM AND MEDIA finally. XD)

Hee, this was entirely an excuse to try drawing her hair, so I'm glad you liked it! Thank you. :D
