Fandom: Metal Gear Solid (which appears to be some sort of video game)
By: godsdaisiechain
Words: few but potent
Characters: Venom Snake in his sneaking suit.  A ferret. Some snacks... special guests Pocky Panda and the Cheetos tiger.
Summary: First meeting.  Elasticized waists.  Snacks.
Author note: Inspired indirectly by "What the ferret did next" by [livejournal.com profile] thesmallhobbit.  I was intending to look for images of elasticised waists and corsets to make a little something for [livejournal.com profile] holmes_minor or possibly [livejournal.com profile] sherlock60, but  this happened when I Googled "snake sneaking suit" and "ferret."

Super cute is right. That must be the cutest ferret ever, and surely the image of smallhobbit's Ferret.

He's pretty squee-worthy. Thanks for the kind words.

This is hilarious! What an absolutely brilliant interpretation of the prompt!

I could NEVER have done this without your inspirational elasticized waist tail *ahem* tale of adventure and drainpipes....

Very cracky. And I do like the addition of the Jammie Dodgers. I'm a HobNob gal myself but I can see the Cheeto dust on the ferret perhaps getting in the way of the whole 'not leaving a trace' thing

I have never actually had a hobnob.... but I can get jammy dodgers in the local supermarket by my folks' house.

They sell both at the supermarket here, plus a couple other 'digestives' which always make me think of Metamucil. The British foods section is exactly two paces long and has cans of mushy peas and other delicacies. :) Hobnobs are like an oatmeal cookie half dipped in chocolate. Very good.

We have an entire "Irish" foods aisle as well as a full aisle of Irish books, magazines, and other odds and ends.... and a section of Irish beers (and one of cheeses and then the butter). Curly Wurlies, yes. Hob Nobs, no. But many types of Cadbury chocolate, Club Orange and Lemon, Ribena, and all sorts of Heinz and Bachelor's beans and things.

Me, too. Thanks for the belated validation of this bit of insanity.
