He was stronger once, and he remembers when that was.

It was when he had someone so blatantly honest and perfect in his life. Someone who saw the best of him, someone who did everything to support him no matter what. Someone who cared whether he had a bad day or not.

The minute the door swings open, he has only three words to say.

“I need help.”

She hugs him quickly and he hugs her back tightly.
