“Funny, isn’t it? That I’ve made more progress on this project in three months than you have in years?” Tony said, looking up from the screen full of modeled biochemical reactions.

Bruce rolled his eyes. “I know what you’re doing, Tony.”

“I know. That’s the beauty of it. You know what I’m doing but it’s going to work anyway.” He gave Bruce a little smirk.

“Is that what you think?” Bruce said, a little amused despite himself.

Tony shrugged. “I guess we’ll just have to see who wants it more.”

Bruce smiled, ran his hand up Tony’s waist. He knew what Tony was really asking him. “Then I guess the competition’s on.”

“No offense, but I’m going to crush it.”

“We’ll see,” Bruce said. “Maybe in the past I just wasn’t properly motivated.”

“Hey, it’s too bad there’s not a Nobel Prize for sex. Because figuring out the science behind how to have sex with you without the Hulk interrupting would kind of be a shoo-in.”

“You know, if there were a Nobel Prize for sex and they gave it out based on quantity and lack of discrimination, I’m sure you’d have three.”

“Harsh, buddy.”

Bruce shrugged. “Science doesn’t lie.”
