“Maglor, why are you hiding here, instead of out there with them?” Celeborn looked into the room, careful not to suddenly interrupt him and cause him to injure himself.

“I can’t go out there right now,” he answered.

Celeborn sighed. “You realize that you have been singing publicly for millennium? You can do this too.”

“I can’t.” Maglor said.

“Of course you can. I can’t make you, but I know you can do it.”

“What if I don’t want to?”

“Why wouldn’t you want to?”

“Because I don’t.”

Celeborn looked at him. “If you decide you do, we’ll be out here waiting. If you don’t, still come eat at some point.”

Maglor nodded.
