Rocket walked in to a strange sight. Quill was sitting at the table, his head down on his crossed arms. Groot was right next to him, tucked into Quill's elbow, reaching out with one of his branches, awkwardly petting Quill on the head.

"Do I want to know what's going on here?"

"I am Groot."

"So his tape broke. It ain't the end of the world."

"I am Groot!"

"No, I'm not being mean, I'm offering to fix it, you big dope!"

Quill's head popped up. "You can do that?"

"I am Groot!"

"Are you kidding, I can fix anything!"
