Summary: New York was always changing.

Doctor Henry Morgan loved New York. You have to love a place to live there for as long as he had. He'd become well acquainted with its dirt streets, cobblestone, and pavement when rushing about to help a patient, running alongside of Abraham on his tricycle, and chasing after Detective Martinez on a case. For him, newsboys' cries interwove among trolleys' bells and the honking of horns. Car exhaust mixed with horseshit and rotting hay with flowers.

Not only did the City never sleep, but it never stopped changing either. And Henry knew he wouldn't have it any other way.
