Dana’s a magnet for the paranormal. All things spooky end up drawn to her, and she’s drawn to them, however subconsciously. That’s how she ended up living in an apartment built to funnel supernatural energy, that’s how she ended up working at a museum that housed a possessed portrait.

Sure, Dana’s not happy about being a beacon for ghosts. She’s even less happy since it’s become clear that she’s passed the gift down to her son. But over time she’s gotten better at accepting it as normal.

Still, it’s probably just as well she has a Ghostbuster in her life. And Peter’s learned to roll with the ghostly punches.

So it doesn’t even bother him anymore when ectoplasm starts oozing from the walls when they’re fucking. No big deal if the bed starts to levitate while Dana’s riding him. If the lights start blinking manically while he’s eating Dana out, well, it must be a Wednesday. If books start flying around the room during one of Dana’s more wild orgasms, Peter just considers it a job well done.

When he bounces on to the bed and announces, “Let’s try and break the windows again tonight,” he doesn’t need to explain himself. Dana already knows what he’s talking about, wrinkling her nose and rolling her eyes.

After all, it wasn’t just their window that broke last week when Dana screamed out in pleasure and the spirits got a little too excited about the noise - every damn window in the building needed replacing.

“Shut up and get over here, Venkman,” she smirks, and Peter grins and does as he’s told.
