Scalisi’s corpse in the closet, Patrice’s corpse in the goddamn display case, and yet the party goes on like it’s the last days of Sodom. Girls and drinks and food, laughter and toasts and drunken conversation that never quite drowns out the voice in Vince’s head counting down to seven a.m.

He doesn’t know if he wants to laugh or cry. He set up this sting to thread the needle of his complicated loyalties, and all he’s managed to do is set Sonny up for a murder rap. His house of cards is falling in, and it’s all his fault.
