“Let’s drive the car,” he says. But, recently arrived to this world, you don’t want to.

“Here, a gift,” he says, tossing you the keys, but you don’t know how to drive.

“I’m ready to drive with you.” After months of deliberation, you offer, but he turns you down.

The time to part has come. You take a taxi, don’t accept the offer of a ride.

When he arrives home (though it’s not your home, not any longer), he finds the keys to the car left on the bedside table.

After everything, back together, you finally drive up the mountain.
