Umika can’t stop thinking about it, the amusement park with Tsukasa. She wishes they could do something like that again but on purpose. She shouldn’t want it, knows she shouldn’t. Tsukasa is a member of the Global Police and Umika is a phantom thief and there is no future between the two of them.

But that night, she dreams of the two of them out on a proper date. Holding hands not because they’re in a haunted house but because they want that contact, want that closeness. And it’s the first time she hasn’t had a nightmare in what feels like forever, the first time she hasn’t relived the worst moment of her life.

So she’ll want, quietly and alone, and she’ll take impossible dreams over terrors.

But she knows she can never have Tsukasa Myoujin.
