February 1st, 2012
It is February 1st and that means
fan_flashworks is now LIVE! Welcome! *fanfare*
To kick things off, our very first challenge theme is:
This is a challenge with two ways to play. You can make a fanwork about a lost hour (and there are many, many ways to lose an hour; we encourage you to be creative!).
Or you can make a fanwork in an hour. These fanworks can be on any theme, but the time limit is strict: you MUST make your work in an hour or less, no longer. (You're on your honour for this, of course, but please feel free to post the actual time it took to make your work if you want to.) You should still get beta and do spellcheck if applicable, but those things don't need to be done within the hour for your work to be eligible.
All works created for this challenge should be posted as a new entry to the comm, starting right now and continuing up until the challenge ends at 4 p.m. PST on February 10th. No sign-up required.
Don't worry about tagging. Mods will tag your work with fandom, media and challenge. When you've posted entries to three consecutive challenges, you will earn a name tag, and we'll go back and tag all your previous entries with your name.
As always, all kinds of fanworks in all fandoms are welcome. Please have a look at our guidelines before you play. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact a mod. And if you have any suggestions for future challenges, please leave them in the comments of this post!
