Tintin didn't drink much, but when he did his sense practically disappeared.  Normally a glass or two was enough. The night before, however, Spirou and he raided the Captain's personal whiskey stash like girls on a sleepover. Only a couple bottles, one each, as well as a glass in hand.

Was it the other redhead that suggested the idea? Or was it he, in another burst of increasingly rare recklessness? No idea. Much of the prior hours projected only fog in his thoughts. All he knew was he awoke on the floor, face wet from Snowy's licking and his head suffering from a full blown migraine. He mustn't had slept long, as strong Loch Lomond breath still plagued him.

He detected a weight atop him, but it wasn't the tail wagging dog standing by his cranium. Spirou's limbs twisted around his, with his softly snoring head atop Tintin's chest. His green pajamas remained mostly on-- some unbuttoning, pant bottoms slightly exposing his underwear--but far from unclothed. The former bellhop's red set appeared enough the same to indicate something could've happened, but both were too plastered to get too far.

And yet, strangely... he didn't feel too much alarm. He faintly recalled kisses between the two before the drunkenness whited out his memory, and Tintin definitely knew some mutual attraction with the fellow reporter existed beforehand whoever opened the first of the two empty bottles beside them.  Did they discuss something before...

More revealing conversation was needed.  Preferably alone, preferably without whiskey. If what happened between them (whatever it was)  did indeed happen, though, it was perhaps indicative of what the two felt about and wanted from each other. Any talk of whether to keep it secret to their friends and how to keep it from the public, if they did being a relationship, would have to wait. All Tintin required was a confirmation to continue on. He only hoped Spirou would say "yes."
