Summary: Niles contemplates a time when he should have been bolder in his pursuit of Daphne.

If only he’d been bold enough to ask Daphne out on the night of the made-up date with Phyllis, then he wouldn’t have spent years agonizing over the love of his life. Donny wouldn’t have been in the picture. He wouldn’t have dated women who only paled in comparison to Daphne. 

Yes, he should have been bold. He should have told Daphne ages ago about his love for her, but in the end, everything worked out just fine, and if nothing else, they have this memory of the Phyllis fiasco to remind them that they are perfect for each other.

Aww, I love Niles/Daphne. So cute. But yes, Niles should have confessed long before he finally did. Would have saved them a lot of trouble.
