Parker's heart feels heavy and sad for no reason. She peeks out from her third favorite vent and feels a pang of guilt as she spies Eliot and Alec curled up on the sofa together. She knows love doesn't fix everything. Nothing does. But sometimes she feels like it should and that it must be her fault when it doesn't.
She stretches out between them. Her head in Alec's lap, Eliot's hand on her hip, tentatively at first, more firmly after she wiggles against him in a very distinctive way, letting him know that she's okay with being touched today.
