Summary: Justin mulls over his decisions.
Justin was used to thinking of Brian when he was with Ethan – comparing them even. Brian was better in bed. Brian let Justin be who he was. Ethan gave flowers. Brian wouldn’t schedule a dinner with him. Ethan gave promises. It was easy, at first – to want to be there. Ethan gave him everything he’d been asking Brian for- promises, flowers, music, I love yous. And then Ethan’s final gift: a feeling of betrayal. Another thing Brian would never have given him. Because Brian wouldn’t have offered him an empty promise. And suddenly, Justin wanted to be anywhere but here.
