QaF (US): Fanfic: Brian Kinney - the Myth, the Legend, the God
Title: Brian Kinney - the Myth, the Legend, the God
Fandom: QaF(US), Daphne, Justin/Brian
Rating: PG13
Word Count: 290
A/N: Just an experiment with Daphne's voice and to fill the SBIGTTS requirement: write a canon scene from a minor character's perspective.
Daphne's POV
Justin and I tell each other everything, and I mean everything. Sometimes it's really great living vicariously through his scandalous adventures on Liberty Avenue, while other times I feel a little bit jealous about all the sex he's having and the new friends he's making.
When he first told me about the great Brian Kinney, I didn't really know what to think. Justin was so lovestruck, even going so far as saying he'd seen the 'Face of God', that I just went along with his plans to find Brian on Liberty Ave again. I knew Justin wouldn't rest until he'd won him over or had his heart totally and utterly crushed.
When I finally saw Brian with my very own eyes at Babylon (and then a few weeks later in-the-flesh), maybe I was won over. Shit, Justin was one lucky guy to get past Brian's 'one fuck only' policy.
God. Brian is totally hot.
Hell, like the gods themselves (or so we've learned in Literature class), Brian even has 'icon representations' that are specific to his persona. What could be more Brian Kinney than his shell bracelet, black Jeep, and sartorial genius.
Justin has shown me some of the scratches those shells have left behind on his not-virgin-anymore-flesh; Brian marking him so Justin has yet another reminder of their nights together.
There's also the loft, his inner sanctuary that men always line up to get a chance to be granted admittance. (Not that I wouldn't be lining up myself if he swung that way.) I know Justin says he's mostly okay with it, but we'll see how long that lasts.

I've always loved Daphne's attitude towards Brian, a little crush and a whole lotta "don't mess with my friend, mister".

I'm not totally happy with it. I really want to fix it up and expand on it, but I ran out of time for this posting.
