Bruise: FFVII: Fic: Bruises
Author: Wallwalker
Title: Bruises
Fandom: FFVII
Characters: Barret/Tifa
Prompt: Bruise
Word Count: 132
Rating: SFW. Discussion of injuries (bruises)
Note: Three-sentence fic.
---
Tifa had another bruise every time that Barret saw her; there was always another purpling mark somewhere, whether it was on her arm or her shoulder or around her eye. He never asked about them, of course; it would’ve been rude, and anyway he was sure that he already knew the story, some angry patron at the bar or some careless shopper dashing through the streets and pushing people out of the way, because just because his weren’t so visible didn’t mean that he didn’t have his fair share. Injuries couldn’t be avoided in a place as crowded as Midgar under the plate, so he couldn’t judge; he could only offer cold drinks and painkillers and hope that neither of them would never come back with anything worse than just another bruise.
