Phantasy Star Online: Fanart: IGNITION
Title: IGNITION
Fandom: Phantasy Star Online
Rating: G
Content notes: None.
Artist notes: Colored pencil on pastel paper, as I did not have cardstock large enough. This was a mistake - some editing has been done in Photoshop to repair areas that were damaged by too many layers of colored pencil. Approximately 9" x 12". Features my FOmar player character.
Summary: All fire Techniques begin with a spark.
Or sparkles, as the case may be. There is something great about doing PSO art on Black Paper.

The flames are actually orange, I promise! My scanner just apparently disagrees with my neon orange pencil.
A reference was used for the pose.
I took a few progress photos of this one: 1 | 2 | 3
(You can see the orange tones my scanner ate better in these photos.)
You can see a scan of the original sketch here.
And a shot of my general work set-up for coloring, including MAG farming to break up some of the monotony: here.

Yay sparkles!
PSO was such fun. ::nostalgia::
Re: Yay sparkles!
PSO is one game I'm probably never getting rid of. I don't play it continuously, but I get nostalgia bursts where I need to play it every few months. I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep playing until my GameCube gives up on me!
