Actually, "Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu" is called by its Japanese name even for English-speaking audiences. Here's an info page about it. It's an action drama about anthropomorphized swords who travel into Japan's past (and sometimes their own) to thwart an enemy force bent on disrupting history. Good stuff. :D
(FWIW, the series is based on a video game, which as a non-gamer I know nothing about. There's another anime as well, but my understanding is that it's basically fluff about the off-duty lives of the game's characters. I much prefer the real substance in "Katsugeki".)
